Inspired by the form of the sand dunes from which it emerges, Bee’ah’s new 7,000 sq. m. headquarters is a feat of architectural design ingenuity, a model for sustainability in execution and an example for optimum working conditions and productive visitor interactivity. Designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, the new headquarters sits on a 90,000 sq. m. site and is an embodiment of Bee’ah’s spirit and commitment towards environment-friendly practices. Fully powered by renewable energy, the building stands out in its optimum use of resources, while becoming one with the magnificent desert, through the curvature of its composition.

“The Bee’ah’s Media Façade concept came to life with the vision of 3S Lighting Solution creative team, led by Amir El-Sobky and the support of SACO Pre-Design team. 3S and Saco delivered a turnkey solution enabling this one of kind structure to come to life at night and be an integral part of the Sharjah desert.”

– Yanick Fournier – SVP Business Development

SACO’s ultra slim V-Stick S integrates into the entire roof structure of the futuristic headquarters, tracing and highlighting the roof curvatures with video-capable linear LED products, combining 11,186 fixtures stacked horizontally, with a total of about 184,000 LED pixels working in unison to create a fluid and unique lighting experience. Lighting content is displayed by a single NANO Video Processor, allowing the roof to change color, image and video effortlessly.

In addition to a zero waste to landfill goal, the headquarters is designed as a zero net energy consumption building, with integrated photovoltaic panels to provide the entirety of the complex’s energy needs. To store the energy, Bee’ah is outfitted with Tesla’s 1,890 kWhs capacity powerpack battery technology which goes on to power the 287 SACO V-Brain 300 units. SACO’s innovative approach is proving popular to it’s ever-growing UAE client base, providing high-performance video lighting technology that’s durable to the harsh desert conditions whilst keeping installations easy-to-maintain and service.

“SACO provided the project with an advanced solution which integrated well with the complex geometry of the building façade. They presented solutions for the challenges and restrictions they were faced with and delivered their scope in a timely manner. The team was extremely accommodating to the Client’s needs and were a pleasure to work with. The end result provided the project with an added dimension that transformed the building during the night hours into a magnificent interactive canvas”

– Nada Taryam, Managing Director – Civil Projects , Bee’ah

SACO’s in-house Media Collective team shall also create a range of dynamic media content to be played on a daily basis and during various events at the stadium, including the fins inauguration light show. Bringing the architecture alive in a very unique way, the light content will also boost the atmosphere on event days and carefully highlight the impressive shape of the architecture in a selection of creative approaches.
