Five giant sails majestically puff out their chests, iconic against the Vancouver skyline. Each becomes a dynamic canvas of colours and themes, changing according to season or event. Canada Place is transformed. In a perfect symbiosis of architecture and visual design, of graphics and light, a public space becomes a shared experience.
SACO and Moment Factory were invited to participate in the renewal of Canada Place’s image by creating a permanent installation, as well as spectacular visual events and themed narratives using a fusion of lighting and graphic design. The technology and visuals created integrate seamlessly with the architecture, waterside location and changing purposes of Canada Place.
