SACO is proud to showcase its revolutionary digital car wash experience for Canadian food retail giant Sobeys Inc., which has recently taken over a large number of Shell gas stations across the province of Québec, Canada.
The experience of the car wash has now been given a unique twist, changing the conventional routine car wash into a visually engaging and exciting experience for both users and onlookers alike with its new colour-changing lightbox scheme.
To create this unique experience, SACO’s design team utilized advanced architectural show strategies; the “space” was divided into projection surfaces and treated independently to create a layered effect.
The back wall inside the car wash is fitted with SACO’s Shockwave ALFA’s VIDEO LIGHTS to illuminate the entire surface and allow the area to stand out from a distance, while the Shockwave DELTA-2’s beam down from all angles onto the vehicle, thus allowing for a second highlighted surface of the car inciting the passengers with a colorful “bubble and soap” show from inside the vehicle. Also, SACO’s Shockwave ALFA’s were installed to highlight the water spray.
The combined effects create a fun and interactive experience that will make you want to clean your vehicle over and over again. Adding to the scene, each type of wash has its own unique content and color scheme. SACO’s design team utilized Sobeys’ branding directives as a basis for the artistic direction. The result is a great balance between art, branding and commercial value.
