Elton John is an English artist whose career was launched in the 60s and boasts 38 gold records, 31 platinum and multi-platinum albums. He is one of the world’s best-selling music artists and has sold more than 300 million records worldwide. SACO is proud to be a part of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which marks the finale to his five decades of touring. This tour began in Allentown, Pennsylvania on September 8, 2018 and will consist of more than 300 concerts worldwide, ending in 2021.

SACO joined forces with touring giant Solotech to bring to life the vision of Elton John and his trusted team behind the dynamic production, including designers Patrick Woodroffe and Ray Winkler/Stufish, Creative Directors David Furnish, Tony King, and Sam Pattinson, Production Manager George Hoadley, and Tour Director Keith Bradley. King and Pattinson led on video content, while Woodroffe handled lighting design. Stufish Entertainment Architects designed the stage, with engineering, build, and automation by TAIT.

SACO delivered its S6 video screen tiles from SACO’s Smartvision S-Line to create a massive LED screen for the music and fashion icon. Based on SACO’s proprietary V-Stream communication protocol, the S-Line is fully compatible with SACO’s line of video processors and video-enabled Shockwave light fixtures.
