The French architect Jean Nouvel has designed the 12th floor of the hotel Puerta America in Madrid as a place for experiencing “exceptional moments”. As a delicious, original blend, the architecture of the screen-printed walls becomes an exhibition area for photographic works, creating a space embodying the concept of pleasure.

In order to reveal and exhibit these works printed on the walls themselves, the Jean Nouvel Design agency called on Citiled by SACO’s services to develop a LED system that could be concealed and graduated. The subtlety of the lighting thus highlights the nuances and sensitivities of the photographic works.

These lighting zones merge with their surroundings to induce in the client a torrent of distinct emotions and stir all his senses. Between sensation and suggestion, this venue fluctuates to the rhythm of the artistic illuminations.
