Sir Paul McCartney gained worldwide fame as the bass guitarist and singer for the rock band the Beatles, widely considered the most influential group in the history of pop music. McCartney was inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, first as a member of the Beatles in 1988, and then as a solo artist in 1999.
SACO is proud to be a part of Paul McCartney’s Freshen Up Tour, which kicked off in Canada in September with a 39-song set. SACO joined forces with touring giant Solotech to bring to life the stage creation of show designer extraordinaire, Roy Bennett, and delivered 2 layers of hanging C-THRU LED video screens and side screens made from S12 video tiles and touring frames. In addition, SACO introduced its new S9 LED video system, which makes up the main centre screen, and the new S18 LED video screen system, which makes up the riser. Both the S9 and S18 from SACO’s Smartvision S-Line are mounted to a TAIT Towers automation system. Based on SACO’s proprietary V-Stream communication protocol, the S-Line is fully compatible with SACO’s line of video processors and video-enabled Shockwave light fixtures. The tour will also go to Japan, Europe and USA.
